Introducing Multichain Matters: Your Monthly t3rn Insights

Stay Informed on the Latest in Interoperability Protocol Development and t3rn's Exciting Progress

Hey guys, Maciej here!

For those who don't know yet, I founded t3rn and I'm the CTO of the project. Starting this month, our Glance newsletter is pivoting slightly. In addition to the regular t3rn updates you've come to know and love, I'll be including extra takes on our engineering progress. Our aim is to shed more light on the inner workings of the t3rn protocol as we head towards developing on the recently acquired Polkadot Parachain. If you missed the news, have a look at our blog post t3rn acquires Polkadot parachain.

Hence, we're renaming the current Glance newsletter to Multichain Matters! The newsletter will now feature in-depth insights into the engineering progress at t3rn. With this new addition, you can expect to stay informed about our latest developments while gaining a deeper understanding of the technical aspects behind the implementation of seamless, trust-less interoperability and tools to connect and collaborate securely across integrated blockchain ecosystems.

In the upcoming newsletters, I'll be discussing the work being done on the on-chain Eth2 light client, exploring how smart contracts can access light clients, and diving into the roles of Attesters and the security aspects of interoperability with t3rn. We will cover a comprehensive understanding of our work and its implications.

I believe the language will be digestible regardless of your faction - developer, investor, or simply a fan interested in the multichain ecosystem. My goal is to bring you insights that will help you stay informed.

In addition to our new approach, we are also migrating to beehiiv, which allows us to offer a better user experience. Thanks to this new platform, you'll be able to access previous newsletters, and we're also working on an affiliate program to give back to our loyal subscribers.

In the last few weeks at t3rn, we've been working on several exciting initiatives that I can't wait to share with you. Here are some highlights:

  • We announced that t3rn has joined forces with Subsquid to integrate their technology into our protocol, providing benefits for both projects and our users.

  • Last month, we announced that t3rn is now an open-source project, and our code is available for anyone to view, use, and modify. We believe that building a robust ecosystem means opening it up to the community.

  • Our CSO, Jacob Kowalewski, and I were recently featured in an interview with The Kusamarian team at the ETH Denver conference. It was a privilege to be featured alongside other thought leaders in the space, and we're excited to continue to share our vision and ideas with the community.

  • Finally, as I mentioned before, one of our big achievements in the last few weeks was the acquisition of a parachain on the Polkadot network, marking a significant step forward for us. We understand that you may have questions, so we've put together some FAQs to help answer them.

I hope you'll enjoy our new direction. Feel free to reach out to me with any feedback or suggestions you may have. You can reach out to me on Twitter @Maciej_Baj or shoot me a DM!
