🏔️ ETHDenver Insights: A Glimpse into Ethereum’s Future

ETHDenver 2024 saw a big turnout, showing how much people are getting into Ethereum and its tech, with a particular spotlight on the craze around modularity. Here are the main things I took away from the event:

• Horizontal Scalability: The surge in Layer 2 (L2) rollups indicates a shift towards horizontal scalability as a solution to Ethereum's scalability challenges. This approach, similar to cloud computing, proposes leveraging the combined transactions per second (TPS) of multiple L2s to improve performance, rather than relying solely on a single L2 or L3 solution.

• Ecosystem Integration: ETHDenver featured participation from various blockchain networks, indicating a trend towards increased overlap and integration among different blockchain ecosystems. Notable participants included Polkadot, Cosmos, Celestia, Solana, and Bitcoin.

• Modularity is the future: The discussions and workshops highlighted groundbreaking work in modularity. This includes efforts to enhance Ethereum's scalability and flexibility through modular frameworks, which can lead to more user-friendly and adaptable applications.

🚀 t3rn's Upcoming Rollout

t3rn's imminent rollout aims to enhance cross-chain interoperability, addressing key issues highlighted during ETHDenver.

In line with these developments, our initiatives include:

• EVM Bridging: We're introducing optimized EVM bridging to enable seamless token swaps across major blockchains, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum, Linea, Optimism, and Base. This initiative directly aligns with the concept of horizontal scalability, enhancing liquidity and efficiency across EVM chains.

• Future Phases: Our roadmap, which will be shared soon (very soon 😉) , outlines additional stages aimed at continually enhancing the platform's capabilities, ensuring secure, efficient, and user-friendly cross-chain transactions. This approach mirrors the emerging trend of ecosystem integration, facilitating seamless interaction between different blockchain networks. Layer 1 connections are established via the abstraction layer of the t3rn Parachain using on-chain light clients.
