Tech Update

🛠️ Improving t3rn’s UX

Over the past month, our team has been diligently enhancing the user interfaces of t3rn. This upgrade focuses on providing a more intuitive and comprehensive overview of the ongoing testnet activities, particularly emphasizing the smooth execution of cross-chain asset swaps and bridging operations under the t3rn protocol. Our goal is to ensure that users can easily navigate and interact with our system, making cross-chain transactions more accessible.

🔐 Enhanced Security Measures: Comprehensive Auditing by Industry Leaders

As we continuously strive to ensure the highest security standards for our protocol, we're pleased to update you on our auditing progress. The ongoing audit with Halborn is nearing completion.

Further strengthening our assurance measures, we are gearing up to initiate two additional audits. These will be conducted by Quantstamp and SRLabs, both highly respected and reputable firms in the industry. By engaging with these top-tier auditors, we are ensuring a triple-layered audit process, reflecting our dedication to providing a secure and reliable platform for our users.

This comprehensive auditing strategy underlines our commitment to security and trust, ensuring that t3rn remains at the forefront of safe and secure cross-chain interactions.

🐦‍⬛ Upcoming Integration with Kusama

Looking ahead, we are preparing to activate t3rn’s Parachain on Kusama. This step is pivotal as it will enable the integration of Kusama assets into t3rn’s Kusama Parachain, where they will be seamlessly mapped as ERC-20 equivalents. Users will benefit from the ability to easily swap and bridge assets across all supported EVM-compatible chains, either using XCM or t3rn’s Circuit 3D Orders (Dynamic Destination Deal).

⛓️ Ethereum 2 Light Client deployed on Rococo Testnet

In a significant development, we have successfully completed the extension of the Ethereum 2 Light Client, now deployed on Rococo's Testnet. This extension is a key milestone, as it facilitates the acceptance and validation of traffic from various networks, including Optimism, Base, and Arbitrum. This integration represents a leap forward in our interoperability capabilities.

🪂 Enhancing t3rn's Parachain and EVM RPC Integration

Our team has made considerable progress on the abstraction layer of t3rn's Parachain. Additionally, we are working on integrating the Circuit's remote orders to be available under EVM RPC. This advancement means that we are now equipped to test the t3rn protocol across multiple platforms, including Sepolia (Ethereum’s Testnet), Arbitrum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Optimism Sepolia, Linea Goerli, Binance Testnet, and Scroll Testnet.

🛜 Network Bootstrap Programs and Executor GUI Development

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about our network bootstrap programs, designed to enhance network traffic and user engagement. For executors, we are developing software to evaluate deal profitability based on simple arbitrage strategies. Furthermore, to make the executor role more accessible, we are preparing to launch an Executor GUI. This user-friendly application, compatible with MacOS, Windows, and Linux, will allow executors to easily set up their strategies and preferences, akin to the configuration process in Hummingbot.

🦊 Accessing t3rn via Metamask or Polkadot Extension Wallets

Users will have the convenience of accessing t3rn via their Metamask or Polkadot Extension Wallets, enabling straightforward cross-chain bridging and swaps through a sleek Graphic User Interface. Additionally, all network activities can be transparently monitored via a dedicated Explorer, ensuring that users stay informed and engaged with the network’s operations.
