Spring’s in full bloom, my espresso’s kicking in, and the t3rn testnet just got a bit more interesting. One chain at a time, we’re building something great.

🛠️ Dev Update

Here’s what the engineering team has been shipping behind the scenes, from big updates toward mainnet to key performance improvements across the board.

🔝 Top 5 Developments

  1. Mainnet Order Placement: Onchain order placement is now live on Ethereum Mainnet via contract. This unlocks direct market access and scalable liquidity routing, a huge milestone for t3rn.

  2. Dedicated SQS Queue for Messiah: Introduced an isolated AWS SQS queue to handle messaging in Messiah, improving throughput and making the system more resilient under load.

  3. RPC Block Reader Mode: Optimized our RPC logic, reducing compute overhead by ~30%. Cleaner, faster, leaner.

  4. Bidding Book Live on Testnet: Deployed the Bidding Book module to testnet to simulate real-world order flow and prepare for mainnet rollout.

  5. Executor Upgrade: v4 → v5: Executor compatibility was intentionally broken to align with our new v5 architecture. This clears the path for modular plugins and future feature toggles.

  1. Pending API Call Logic for Executors: Fixed a logic bug that caused pending API calls to hang, preventing stuck orders under specific edge cases.

  2. Race Conditions in Pending Orders API: Patched a race condition affecting order state consistency in concurrent environments.

  3. Refund Confirmation Accuracy: Improved refund messaging to ensure confirmations are only emitted after real state changes, fixing false UI positives.

  4. Base Sepolia Gas Bump: Added an automated gas fee bump to stabilize Base Sepolia testing during fee spikes.

  5. Arbitrum Sepolia EIP-1559 Fixes: Adjusted gas tip logic to align with increased traffic on Arbitrum Sepolia and resolve stuck transactions.

  6. Order Fetch Optimization: Refactored logic to trigger API calls only on actual state changes, cutting unnecessary calls by 50%.

🔭 Top 5 Upcoming Features

  1. TRN Vesting Contracts: Onchain vesting schedules for team and investor tokens, designed to align long term incentives.

  2. Multisig Treasury Wallet: Implementing multisig for the TRN treasury to ensure enterprise grade fund security and transparency.

  3. RPC Management CLI: Adding a CLI and UI layer to easily manage RPC endpoints and enable faster failovers.

  4. Liquidity Metrics API: New endpoint to surface live account liquidity data directly into our dashboards.

  5. CSV Export for BRN Accounts: Allowing users to export BRN account data for snapshots and off-chain analysis.
